If you would like to know how to start a ministry or would like to avoid losing impact in your efforts every month in ministry, then this article is for you. Start off with the mentioned five ways on this list and take a moment to visualize an entire year of ideas to incorporate into your ministry to help others. There is a whole world out there that is waiting to experience the talents and gifts that your ministry has to offer. Start off with one or two ways to make an impact with a small group of individuals looking to enhance their spiritual lives.
1. Group teaching for women's ministry
Women can get together and read assigned chapters collectively or individually. The group can then answer the questions at the end of each chapter. After that, the women get together and have a forum for people to share what they have learned from the chapter or chapters, applying the kingdom principles to their life to foster spiritual growth to be more successful in life. Your spiritual growth will affect every area of your life for the better.
2. Healing Service
Assign someone to read the chapter on healing to build up the audience's faith. Praise and worship should follow after that in order to set the atmosphere for the presence of God to be there for healing. As the leader in the group, you should pray by faith a healing prayer and trust God to manifest the healing for those who are in need. Utilize the scriptures in Life of Healing and Life of prayer for reference.
3. Intercessory Prayer
Assign someone to read the chapters on life of prayer, life of faith and life of trusting God to build people's faith and other chapters if you desire. Praise and worship and then go into intercessory prayer.
4. Daily Individual Devotional
Preferably when you first wake up in the morning, read a chapter and answer the questions at the end of the chapter. Meditate on the kingdom principles in the chapter read and put it into practice daily until the principles becomes part of your life style.
5. Personal Spiritual Development Course
The book will be used as a student manual.
The topics in the book will be taught for 12 weeks.
The course is ideally suited for new believers, non believers and mature believers who want to grow spiritually because they recognize a gap that needs to be filled in their lives.
